There is no doubt that more and more people are dumping their cumbersome desktop computers and making the switch to laptops, but some folks are balking at the cost of wireless Internet. That’s why it is always important for people to know where their cities wireless internet hot spots are, especially the free ones! Let’s take a look at who is allowing Dallas residents to get on the Information Superhighway for free.
If you enjoy reading, a trip to Barnes & Nobel is almost like going to Disney World. It doesn’t matter if you enjoy light magazine reading or if you are looking for a copy of Crime & Punishment, Barnes & Nobel has it all, and it also has free wireless Internet in all of their Dallas apartment area stores. Since B & N often provides comfy chairs and tables, as well as coffee and snacks, some folks make it an afternoon by heading out to their local bookstore for a snack and some web browsing.
If you are heading into or out of Dallas and or if you are there to pick someone up and their flight is delayed, don’t sweat it, simply grab your laptop and kill some time since all of Dallas-Fort Worth’s International Airport has free Wi-Fi. When you consider how overpriced everything else is at the airport, it is good to know you can get at least one thing for free there. You might want to stay away from the overpriced fast food and magazines, however.
If you are on the road and you need a quick bite to eat, almost all Dallas area McDonalds restaurants have free wireless Internet. In most cases, you can go through the drive-thru or get your order to go and then sit outside and use the Internet in your car. It isn’t the most convenient option, but any port in a storm will do.
